When is the Right Time to Get Married?

khass @ 9:34 am

It has almost been two years since I got married. I know time really flies by!

Now and then a friend will ask, ‘How did you know he was the right guy” and “How long did you date” all those kinds of good questions. Everyone wants to know those kinds of things, but, especially if they are also thinking about getting married.

These are totally normal questions people ask themselves. How do you know when you have met the right person and are ready to get married?

Here are a few things you may want to ask yourself before you get married:

1. Do you have similar interests?

2. Are your life long goals in tune, do you want the same things?

3. Make sure to look at their character, are they a good person, someone that you will be there for through everything and they will do the same for you?

4. Do you cherish each other’s company? Does he make you laugh?

5. Is he supportive of your goals, interests and hobbies and want the best for you?

6. Could you live without the other person?

If you said yes, to all these things he is probably the man for you. Hopefully he feels the same.

When you do get engaged there is a lot of planning to do. Make sure to give yourself at least a year before you set your wedding date. This way you won’t feel as rushed and you won’t put stress on your relationship. This is a big change and you want to take it slow.

Get his opinion on the wedding planning. When you are shopping for wedding invitations have him sit with you as you search for the perfect personalized wedding stationery. You may be surprised by the great wedding ideas he has and learn something new. Maybe he prefers a more traditional embossed or monogrammed wedding invitation.

It is important that the wedding is about both of you. It is both your days to cherish and remember for a lifetime.

Should I Send Save the Date Wedding Cards?

khass @ 9:16 am

What is the point of sending Save the Date cards?

If you have a wedding planned it is a great idea to send personalized save the date cards.

What are Save the Date Cards?

These are smaller wedding stationery that you mail to your guests a few months before you mail your wedding invitations. The save the date cards are great to put on their refrigerator and will let your guests know you have a wedding coming up and they need to keep that date open.

Typically your save the dates just have your basic wedding information. Who is getting married, when you are getting married and what day it will fall on? You do not need to have all the details yet; this can be saved for your wedding invitations.

It’s a great idea to send save the date cards to ensure everyone can join you to celebrate in your wedding day.

If any friends or family were planning on a vacation or had another upcoming wedding they should still have time to reschedule.

Your Save the date cards can be personalized to match your wedding invitations or they can look completely different. It is ok if they are less traditional than your wedding stationery. You can have fun with these wedding cards; feel free to use a fun design or your favorite color.

Wedding Shower Season

khass @ 2:14 pm

Today I go the most beautiful embossed wedding shower invitation. As soon as a I saw the elegant invitation I knew exactly whose wedding shower it was for, my Friend Emily. Everying about the invite said class and luxury; I know that’s exactly how her wedding shower will be. I read the beautiful black script type, it had all the shower details and is going to be held right down the street next month.

I immediately grabbed the registry information and was on my way to Macy’s. I love having first dibbs on the wedding shower gift. An hour later I got the best gift on the list. Very pleased with myself I headed home and wrapped it right away. Showers are such a great way to get a new couple started on their life together and get them a few of the things they will need for their home.

As soon as I wrapped my shower gift I realized I forgot to get a shower card. I have seen embossed monogram gift enclosure cards online. I think it would be elegant to give with the gift and i can write a personalized message inside. I’m glad I thought of this now, it will give me plenty of time to order and have them shipped, I will even have leftover note cards for my next shower gift.

Appetizers For Spring Weddings

Barret @ 2:30 pm

Planning a wedding is almost like planning all of your holiday and special events for the whole year in one day. It makes sense to dole everything out in manageable little sections. We’ve talked to wedding planners and tabulated somewhere between 100 and 150 guests will attend. We’ve ordered the cake, sent out the Save The Date Cards and will be forwarding the “Love ” Wedding Invitations from the Romantic Collection out by Valentine’s Day. We’re working on a menu and beverage list for the reception and dinner, since we don’t have a bar and complete staff to man it we’re trying to work on it. We’ve decided on monogrammed napkins, combining the groom and bride’s initials into the new name but we’re still reviewing Classic Monogrammed Foil Stamp, Paris, Granada, or Oxford Foil Stamp.

Yes, easy to believe the majority of the reception’s budget will go for food, namely appetizers? We’ve considered a few options and additions to Classic Monogrammed Napkins and also ordered a classic white Firenze Personalized Embossed Napkin for soaking up spills; handling hors d oeuvres and keeping hands clean. Appetizers will be passed and arranged on the buffet. A sit down dinner will be served in an adjoining room. For the moment our menu is not set in stone but we’re serving liver pate spread, mini shish kabobs, carmelized onions on Melba toasts, deviled eggs and caviar, mini spinach quiches, Martha Stewart’s cheese balls, chicken quesadillas, blinis with creme fraiche and more caviar, stuffed mushrooms and shrimp canapes. A few things may change between now and the wedding but the intricate detail of the napkins, the extensive guest lists and the encounters and events created will be remembered for a long, long time. Great celebrations, family and friends and our  napkins always go hand in hand.

Invitations For Modern Weddings

Barret @ 4:19 pm

What’s your name? What’s your line? What was the exclamation, the little word of advice you offered for wedding invitations? You chose the theme first; don’t do anything before you pick the theme. We know your wedding will be the most important moments of your life and we’d rather help you share with all of those special people that connect with you, those people who are a part of the integral fabric of your life. If there are six or more months until your wedding you may want to consider Save The Date Announcements. If you’ve already sent them and haven’t selected a color coordinated set of Invitations it is now time to get to business. Lead your guests to the chapel or selected venue with one of our 12 Most Popular Wedding Invitations.

Where there is smoke there is fire and where there is love there will be others who come with more to share. Your guests will come from near and far. Perhaps some with flowers in their hair and some without but they will arrive ready to bask in nuptials that have taken many months to prepare. Our modern invitations provide premium quality paper with “frames, borders, and artful accents” into warm, welcoming, extremely personal ways of letting friends, family and valued guests know the ceremony won’t be the same without them. Our styles open up your good graces for everyone to come and add to the moment. Almeria, Amour, Bel Amour, Bourdeaux, Marseilles, Toulon and more for you to review online. Our Modern Invitations “shimmer with pearl and “dark foil borders,” metallic ink and delicate embossings. For a wedding that everyone will attend and continue to create fond memories far long after the flowers have faded one of our Modern Wedding Invitations is surely the right choice for you.

Well-Designed Wedding Stationery and Engagement Invitations for a Successful Wedding Party

Barret @ 2:23 pm

Author: Adrina Jones

Wedding is once in a lifetime occasion and you will want nothing but the best arrangements. Well-organized wedding includes all arrangements, guest lists, catering and above all, the wedding stationery. If you want to have an engagement party before the wedding, you may want to include engagement invitations too in the stationery.

Choosing the Wedding Stationery

Since engagement invitations mark the announcement of a formal wedding, the invites need not match the theme of your wedding invitations. You can plan a different theme, color and choose handmade or readily available wedding stationery for sending the engagement invitations to the guests.

Choosing the  wedding stationery can be confusing. You can opt for one’s that match the theme- contemporary, traditional, floral, beachside or religious styled invitations. Again, these can be handmade or created online, using graphic designing software and applications.

Invitations and Stationery Essentials

The stationery for your wedding can include several essential items. For instance, engagement invitations to announce the wedding date. You can also send out the bridal shower details, wedding rehearsal invitations, menu list, save the date cards and other details. Hence, estimate the size and shape of the wedding invitation stationery to list out all these details.

Organizing the Stationery and Invitations

Always plan ahead to send the engagement and wedding invitation cards to guests well in advance. It helps the guests to make their travel arrangements to attend your function. If you hire professional planners, you may have to order the wedding stationery at least 4 to 6 months ahead. Carefully check the addresses and guest names to avoid any mistakes.
Always keep additional envelopes and wedding stationery for emergency. While sending wedding and engagement invitations, verify the correct post stamps and details to avoid any hassles. Wedding stationery is a key aspect of your wedding event planning. It gives your guests an idea of your wedding theme and creates an interest ensuring that they attend to make it a grand success.
