Baby Naming is not Easy

Exciting News! I am over 6 months pregnant now. My husband and I are both very excited and recently found out we are having a baby girl. I always thought baby naming would be really easy and a lot of fun. To our surprise it has been a lot a work and a little bit of a challenge. We Started by looking at baby names online

We had already decided what the baby name would have been if we were having a boy. He would have been named after his dad, Frankie, and his middle name would have been taken from my dad, Robert. 1,2,3 Easy! But since we are having a girl, we have pulled out the name books.

There is one girl name I really like, but, my husband works with someone with that name, so he just doesn’t feel comfortable using it. Surprisingly enough our taste in names is a bit different from each other, my husband likes the traditional girl names and I like names that are a little less common.

The Baby shower is coming; we have ordered our baby shower invitations, baby shower party napkins and baby thank you cards. A baby is supposed to be a bundle of joy bursting free with no worries, no obligations, a vision of joy for the proud parents. So far this year Pippa is the girl’s name that has gained a great deal of popularity. Philippa is the more formal version but they both mean lover of horses. Kate, Eula and Aiden, boy’s name, are on the rise this year as well. No one has made a complete tabulation for the year because babies are continuing to be born. You’ll find a deeper meaning may come with the name you choose and what the child first reveals he or she is and then there may be a clearer match or greater revelation on what the child will become . They may grow into the name, they may not. Mason means brick layer’s son. Liam means will or desire and Jack means God is gracious while Allen means rock. Then how many Madonna Louise’s have you heard of? She seems to be one of kind? Planning a Baby Shower ?

We just got the news; my cousin and her husband are pregnant with their first baby. The family is overjoyed with excitement and we are already thinking in blues, pinks and yellows. Is it a boy, will it be a girl? Making guesses at her due date, and the weight. Plus, thinking about all the fun the new baby will bring to our family holidays, birthday parties and of course planning a baby shower!

This is an exciting event, the first baby in the family in Over thirty some years. This Baby Shower is going to be a Party a big celebration. Being her closest cousin and honestly the only other girl cousin. I am the party planner! This is good for me since I enjoy this kind of thing. Choosing a theme, finding a banquet hall, planning the menu and choosing the cake. Everyone knows I have quite the sweet tooth when it comes to fancy designer cakes! The shower cake is a must!

I am planning the baby shower for my best friend and I am beyond clueless about these things. Having a Baby ? Shopping for Personalized Baby Stationery ?

Are you having a baby? This is probably no surprise, but, there are a lot of things you are going to need. I am sure you have heard that, but, it’s true. You will need everything from a crib, car seats and diapers to clothes, toys and more. It really doesn’t seem like a lot of stuff until you actually start buying, then it begins to add up quickly.

If you are having a baby shower, be sure to register. You can register for baby in store or even online. Make sure to read consumer reviews on baby products and know what you are registering for. Hopefully you get a few of the things you are going to need. This will be a big help when you are paying for food, diapers and childcare.

If a family member is throwing your shower they are probably shopping for baby shower invitations. There are such a cute and large selection of shower invitations now. You can also get custom printed or embossed baby shower napkins and baby thank you note cards that match your invites. Be sure to keep this in mind. This will tie your entire shower together and a great touch.

My husband and I just had our first baby and although we tried to get as many hand-me-downs as possible, we got the best quality birth announcements for our friends and family. They were so cute and everyone loved them. We were so glad we put effort in to choosing something special because those will last forever and the clothes and toys won’t! We bought the adorable circus peanut announcements…soooooo cute!

My cousin is pregnent after trying for two years. I went over to her house this weekend and suggested we look at announcements from invitepapers.com and pick one that did her long wait some justice. We both found one we thought was great and now her sweet little boy will be born in October. It is so smart to plan ahead and if you can order the announcements for someone as a gift so all they have to do is send them out, it saves the couple a lot of stress.

My sister and her husband just learned they are expecting their first child. They are so excited and nervous for everything baby related that she put me in charge of the announcements. The baby deer ones are the sweetest for a little girl and for a boy the hello bear ones. I can’t wait to show her!

I used the bunny foil stamped napkins in pastel pink with bright pink foil for the shower for my baby girl and they were beautiful!

My sister daid she would pick out the personalized invitations for my baby shower. Being the control freak I am, I was nervous as to what she would pick out. But when she showed me invitepapers.com I relaxed a lot more. They have a really nice selection and I’m excited to see what she picks out.

The great thing about ordering them from InvitePapers is that the wait time is so short. We ordered some when my son was born and I was really impressed with how little time it took for a personalized announcement to arrive.

I got the hello bunny ones from a close friend who just had a daughter, they are so adorable. I can’t wait until it’s my turn to send out personalized birth announcements.

Maybe a baby is next, well it is but probably not for awhile. Have you seen the adorable baby invite or announcements? Oh my gosh they are so cute. I love the ones where you can include your baby picture…so perfect!
