Eco-Friendly Thank You Note

Barret @ 10:13 am

Why would you send a thank you note? Why would you worry about whether it is environmentally friendly or not? Obviously you want to be good to those who are good to you. You want to express gratitude to those who have extended an open door, a hand, assistance and friendship while at the same time you want to let them know about your own personal conviction to see that our environment lives on. The easiest way for you to do that is to choose eco friendly stationery.

Everyone has heard of having “gone green,” solar energy and the increasing number of companies who will produce products made of recyclable paper to ensure a cleaner, more livable long lasting environment, haven’t you? Did you ever think your thank you notes, personalized stationery or personalized napkins could contribute to such a worthy cause? Did you ever think that someone would thank you later for choosing eco friendly thank you notes, personalized invitations, or napkins? No, of course not   but by making a choice to treat the environment well, like a good host or benefactor we are focusing on the same thing that thank you notes reinforce. Thank you notes express gratitude and appreciation for what was expressed. If more people could remember that in terms of what could be done for the ecosystem by choosing more environment friendly alternatives, maybe it would have a more profound effect.

In this day and age everyone knows what eco friendly is, right, or do we assume too much? The defining moment for eco friendly thank you notes, invitations, napkins and personal stationery means that it must be made from 50% recyclable paper but now lines of personalized stationery, napkins and thank you cards have been produced from  100% recyclable paper which means they use no new trees. It appears the recycling process has greatly improved the thank you note options, depending on the company you find yourself with.

InvitePapers.com has a dozen uniquely branded notes made of “high quality green tea paper” with matching envelopes. They are offered in names like Green Tea Notes, Eco Firenze Monogram Note, Eco Columbia Notes, Eco Monte carlo and more. The cards are a green tea color too and produced in about a dozen styles to make an impression of gratitude for everything from weddings to anniversaries and bah mitzvahs.

It is not the size of the gift that matters but the gift or the gratuity itself. If this is your purpose in sending thank you notes then you’ll be very interested in passing on the eco friendly message through the cards to your hosts family, friends, friends and those who you’ve endeavored to let in your life and those who have let you into theirs. Send thank you notes whenever you feel touched by someone’s generosity or when someone just made a difference because they stopped. Send thank you cards to customers acquaintances, email companions, business associates, and other guests but we’d hope with your choice of eco friendly stationery that the other message of “helping to save the planet” would shine through and through.

What do people notice at the wedding Reception first, the cake? They notice it more when the bride and groom are in front of it and surrounded by ornately decorated personalized napkins flashing the newly married couple’s initials or a line from their wedding anthem, “Let The Good Times Roll.” That small detail is attention getting enough.  A half hour later is the happy couple still stuffing  cake into each other’s mouths and quickly wiping away crumbs with their fingers and more personalized wedding napkins, foil stamped, embossed or monogrammed  what is their choice?  Plenty of them still sit, arranged around the cake and champagne glasses on both ends.

Personalized Wedding Invitations

Barret @ 10:55 am

“Here comes the bride all dressed in white.” The bridesmaids are following in a procession. Bouquets and floral arrangements pop in and out of view. How many bridesmaids are there? How many people did you invite from the groom’s side of the family and how many people from the bride’s? The show just started. In fact there are a few late arrivals. Better late than never. The wedding invitations specifically stated that the ceremony would start promptly at 12:00 PM.

Regardless of what happens on the Wedding Day, whether it’s a small or large affair, whether you’ve been preparing for months or weeks you’d like to start the wedding out on the right foot. Believe it or not the wedding invitation is the first impression that most of your guests will see and read before they receive any information from anyone else. Spend enough time and effort reviewing wedding invitations. There are thousands of them to choose from. You might even decide to try personalized wedding invitations. The most important thing you must remember is that wedding invitations can make a tremendous first impression. You should use that to your advantage in getting your wedding invitations out early. As with anything else the better the first impression you make the better response rate you’ll receive.

It doesn’t take a lot of time to pick the proper wedding invitation. You may know the moment you set your eyes on yours. It takes a little more time to personalize or customize your wedding invitations than to buy them from a vendor who already produces what you have in mind. That’s why knowing what you want in a wedding invitation and where to get them can save you a hell of a lot of time. You’ll want to review fonts and graphics as well as the sizes and textures of the wedding invitations. It’s not about the bride or the groom it’s about making your wedding an event that your guests will feel obligated to go to. After receiving their wedding invitation how will they be able to say no. They may call and ask if they can bring additional guests and you may have to say no because of lack of space and that is the only no either of you will want to hear.

Your wedding will be a once in a lifetime event. Invitepapers.com offers extraordinary “personalized wedding invitations” in traditional, modern, and romantic categories available online. There are 51 styles of Wedding and Reception Invitations from which to choose: Bordeaux, Dover, Bel Amour Wedding, Chateaux, Amour Galena, Cordova, Mountaban, Embassy Wedding Program, Navy Silhouette, Early Spring and Toulon. Embossed Wedding Napkins

Barret @ 5:13 pm

Embossed napkins provide an elegant looking napkin with a custom pressed process with no ink. Embossed is defined as molding or carving in relief, as an embossed design on a coin. To decorate with a raised design. In the case of embossed personalized napkins they are done purely for decorative reasons. Advertisements for embossed napkins appeared as early as the mid 1800s. Embossing was refined in the period after WW II when the industrial revolution and gave everyday consumers the ability to mimic materialism and lifestyles of society’s elite with how they celebrated their weddings. Embossing and monogramming of wedding stationary became more inexpensive and increasingly popular.

Embossed napkins have become a signature for wedding receptions. Guests admire fine quality paper napkins and attention to detail. They become personalized cocktail napkins when used to hold drinks, hors d’oeurves, and wedding cake at wedding   receptions. They are generally placed on and around cake tables and bars to add their own unique style, decor, and drama to your wedding reception and after parties. Embossed napkins aren’t the last name in signature style but you can make them your own. They can become your calling card.

InvitePapers produces a wide selection of personalized embossed napkins and guests towels to make any event more than ordinary. They come in wide variety of sizes and thicknesses, one ply to three ply. The key with embossed napkins is that they reinforce a really catchy, heartfelt, memorable message presented on a plain colored napkin that still has the ability to transform your perception of   an event from something ordinary to something beyond ordinary. That is indeed what it would be if you were using ordinary napkins but you were smart you started planning early and decided to go with embossed guest towels and cocktail napkins. You ordered a set of guest towels and napkins embossed with the Paris pattern. You decided you’d go with the embossed pattern rather than the monogrammed because the Cannon’s used the monograms for their personalized wedding napkins. Everyone agreed the change was a pleasant surprise. The wedding is next week and you’re wondering who will have the last laugh, should you?

InvitePapers offers a nice variety of signature embossed napkins. Seville Monogram, Estate, Renick, Paris Custom, Sugar Blossom, Cherry Blossom, 5th Avenue, Deer, Granada Monogram, Happy Horsie, and Heritage Monogram are among the selection of embossed napkins that can make or recreate one of your events.  They are high quality napkins that look like they cost a lot more than what you paid for them. They come in a wide variety of colors that span the spectrum of around thirty-one to match or compliment any other style or print. If you’re looking for first rate embossed cards and napkins in InvitePapers.com has the set or package that will make your table setting or event come alive with  the theme that will live on after the wedding is over and only fond memories of your Wedding Day remain.
Envision your wedding and reception. Make sure you start early. Once you’ve got the guest list taken care of along with the strategy for the big day, ask yourself is the wedding invitation everything you’ve expected? Make sure it is and make sure you have enough of everything. Your personalized embossed napkins and guest towels will make an overwhelming statement when they’re arranged as the guests arrive, right? You still have time to make changes, order extra embossed napkins, guest towels, coasters and additional wedding favors if needed. If there are any other questions at all, we’ll be happy to help. Call customer service at InvitePapers.com  for all the right answers. We’ll be happy to help you out.

A Weekend Wedding

Barret @ 3:22 pm

I went to a wedding last weekend in Minneapolis.  As a critic of invitations, personalized stationery, and personalized napkins, I found myself in the role of participant and observer.  Oh, the wedding was my nephew’s.  Back to the subject – he’s twenty-nine and the bride is twenty-something.

personalized stationeryTheir invitations were nicely crafted, possibly made on their pc.  The invitations included a nice color theme – an aqua blue that was featured in the typography and the paper choice.  The motif was two birds, facing each other.  Wow, this is starting to sound boring !  Let’s get onto the weekend events:

Friday night was rehearsal dinner, Saturday afternoon was the wedding.  The reception was at 5:00 pm and there was a brunch on Sunday morning.  A complete weekend, indeed.  Let’s start with the rehearsal dinner.  It was at an ornate Italian-themed pasta restaurant very close to the University of Minnesota campus.  I’m so sorry, I cannot remember the name of it or I would give a plug – it was a little ragged around the edges, but in a surprisingly good way – in other words – it was old and spacious with plenty of character.  There were at least fifty guests, maybe sixty or seventy – a large rehearsal dinner by my standards.  But, I see that this has been a trend.    Is it possible that rehearsal dinners could sometime rival the wedding reception itself ?

The wedding was in a modern church with a western wall that was all glass or nearly so.  Music during the service was simple.  There was a grand piano with a classical pianist and beautiful music was the order of the day.  Die Traumeri by Schumann was dreamy (of course) and reverberated nicely off the modern hard-edged walls.

The reception was held on the campus of the University in an ultramodern hall in the Campus Alumni building.  If you’re ever on the campus and have a chance to see this building, and hopefully, enter it, I recommend this – the space is asymetical and suprising in its use of materials, edges, and flat planes.  This hall was a large cube with a very high ceiling.  With 150 or 200 attendees, everyone fit nicely.   The buffet dinner was wonderful.  The DJ did a great job.  Everyone danced.  What an evening !

All in all, it was a nicely planned wedding with a nice progression of events and excellent attention to detail.
